flower boxes

These flower boxes were built from Hardie board.  they are only attached by U-bolts.  They worked perfect for growing Jasmine to provide privacy for this balcony.

STeel Top Vanity

Raw steel was water-jetted into shape to cover this vanity.  It was polished with a wire wheel and sealed before being glued in place.  A countersunk flush mount sink fits seamlessly under the opening.

Wood floors

Brazilian Cherry floors were a nice upgrade from the original carpet.  Every inch was replaced, even the storage room.

Bench Seat

I built these simple bench seats to replace three dated bar stools.  They are pine stained black and connected with steel plumbing fittings.  They are only attached to the wall and rest on felt feet so not to damage the wood floor.

Butcher Block counters

Butcher Block counters were chosen to replace green formica.  After being cut to fit, routered and sanded threaded studs were epoxied to the bottom.  They were bolted in place and stained.  Bolted in place instead of glued in place allows them to be repaired/replaced without  making a mess in this house.

Stairs

Raw steel and recycled glue-lams were forged into this simple staircase.

60' of square and rectangular tubing was welded to shape.  Ground welds and a wire wheel finish keep it looking humble and the galvanized cable keeps the area feeling open.

railings

Rectangular tubing was cut and welded into this simple railing system.  The minimalist look was mandatory with a view like this. The steel assembly was painted metallic bronze to match the window frames.  1500lb galvanized cables strung taught between ensures no one can fall through.

suspended bar

This mini bar was built from a solid piece of quarter inch steel.  The plate was water-jet cut then bent on a huge break.  A shallow sink was bent and welded into the top surface before being mounted to a custom acrylic cabinet and wine cooler.  Over four hundred ponds suspended on the wall above the floor without feet was no easy feat.
