I converted this washer to specifically wash Stadler DMUs.  Originally the vehicles were washed by hand using three maintainers and took nearly four hours.  This machine can do the same task in less than ten minutes.  It pressure washes the roof and scrubs the sides using diesel heated water.  It also rinses the dirty water off with cold clean water as it goes by.  The dirty water is pumped through a filter and returned to the 350 gallon wash water storage tank.  Lastly it pressure washes the running gear and under-carriage using a degreasing solution propelled though spinning nozzles.
