 Originally we were purchasing the entire air suspension assembly.  This new jig allowed us to replace the air bag only as the aluminum backing plates were reusable.  This jig allowed us to mount the bead of the new air bag onto the base plate (silver part) just like a car tire is mounted on a rim except inside out.  The jig then inflates the new bag against the lower plug (yellow part) and seats that bead.  It also pressure tests the assembly to verify proper fitment before the very labor intensive installation into the vehicles motor truck.
